What is PoolCleanBiz?
PoolCleanBiz is pool service software that automates billing for pool-service companies — recurring invoices, card autopay, and automatic recovery of failed payments — plus weekly routes and field service reports.
Does PoolCleanBiz hold my money?
No. Payments run on your own Stripe account and settle directly to you, so PoolCleanBiz never holds your funds. We add a 1% platform fee on processed payments; your customer is never charged a surcharge.
Can I move my existing saved cards from another app?
Saved card details cannot legally be transferred between processors, so PoolCleanBiz is built for operators enrolling customers in autopay for the first time. Customers re-save their card once and it stays on file from then on.
How does failed-payment recovery work?
When a card is declined or expired, PoolCleanBiz automatically retries the charge and sends compliant, time-of-day-limited reminders until the invoice is paid — recovering revenue you would otherwise chase by hand.
Does PoolCleanBiz work with QuickBooks?
Yes, by CSV. Customers and invoices export in the column format QuickBooks Online imports directly, and payments export as a reconciliation report. A live two-way QuickBooks Online sync is on the roadmap.
Can I bring my existing customers over from another app?
Yes. Import your customers, properties, and pools from a CSV export of your old software — it matches common column layouts, tells you which columns it read, and skips addresses you already have. Saved card details cannot legally transfer between processors, so customers enrol in autopay once with PoolCleanBiz.
Is there a mobile app for my technicians?
A native iOS and Android tech app is built and in testing ahead of the app-store release. Until it lists, techs can work their routes and file service reports from the web dashboard on a phone.
Do you support commercial or HOA pools?
v1 is focused on residential pool service. Commercial and HOA compliance records are planned for a later release.
